Fair rental value coverage - Definition

This is a type of home insurance benefit in which the fair rental value of the rental property is assured should the rental property get damaged. In other words if the insured rents part of the home to a tenant becomes uninhabitable due to damage from a covered peril under the fair rental value coverage, the insurance reimburses the insured party for the lost rent.
